The Foyer & Reading Room

For many visitors to Claridge’s, the Foyer is the first thing that captures their imagination. In the centre of the room a striking Chihuly sculpture hangs like a chandelier. The walls shimmer with original art deco mirrors. Music drifts from the grand piano. It is here that breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea are served, as well as our inventive twists on classic cocktails.

Dinner reservations are for full dining only and subject to a minimum spend of £50 per guest. 

From 5 November 2024 until 1 January 2025, we will be serving our Festive Afternoon Tea only, from £115 per person (weekdays), £120 weekends per person (weekends). Children's Festive Afternoon Tea is priced from £60 per person.

Financial Times x Laurent-Perrier Héritage Menu

Indulge in the enchanting flavours of autumn at The Foyer and Reading Room with an exquisite new set menu in partnership with the Financial Times and Laurent-Perrier. Begin with a delicious wild mushroom parfait amuse-bouche, followed by a delicate Devon crab salad and succulent venison loin paired with seasonal sides. For a sweet finale, savour a roasted pear drizzled with honey and luscious crème fraîche. This unforgettable dining experience includes a glass of the prestigious Laurent-Perrier Héritage, perfectly complementing the seasonal celebration.

The Financial Times x Laurent-Perrier Héritage menu is available throughout October and November. 

 

Christmas in The Foyer

Celebrate the season in true Claridge’s style, as our festive menus bring comfort and joy to the table throughout December. Smoked salmon, caviar, beautifully roasted turkey and goose – each curated course is a showcase for the finest winter fare. All wrapped up with iced Laurent-Perrier champagne and steaming bowls of our secret-recipe pudding – a Christmas signature.

A refined afternoon tea display features an assortment of delicate finger sandwiches and intricately crafted pastries, including choux puffs, red-glazed confections, and Mont Blanc swirls, elegantly arranged on Claridge's signature green and white striped plates, accompanied by a glass of sparkling Champagne.
